Pinche Taqueria

My awesome friend Ariel is back in town for the summer and I am very excited about it.  Not only do I get to hang with my buddy more often, but we also made a "Jamie & Ariel's Fun List" of all the tasks we want to partake in this summer.  Which means lots of fun photos to be taken!
We grabbed some margaritas and burritos at Pinche Taqueria friday evening.  Delish!!

Off to a BBQ on the Upper West side of Manhattan. Have a great memorial day folks~

Carnival

My partner in crime Henry joined me for a little event at Bowlmor's Night Club- Carnival. 
It's exactly as it sounds, literally a carnival on top of a NYC bowling alley! Carnival greatness includes: Women on stilts dressed a burlesque dancers, free popcorn and snow cones (for the event we were at, sorry) lots of carnival games and even a clown faced entrance.

If you are visiting or live in NYC...I recommend you give this place a try for a unique and interesting evening. It's at 110 University Place (between 12th &13th st)  New York.

On the Hudson

On sunday I took the Metro North a little ways upstate to visit my sister.  Her good friend had just graduated college and was having a little get together. As I was on the train on the way back to NYC, the sun looked beautiful along side the hudson river.

Dance Parade

Reason to love NYC:
----->Random "Dance Parades" celebrating hundreds of organizations, cultures, & music styles.
----->Paying $2 for Falafel across the street. Yum
----->Sitting at Bull Mc Cabes drinking a cold beverage watching above dance party.

SOTM Photoshoot with Friends

Mario from Someone Once Told Me was in town so we decided to meet up and have a little photoshoot.  Mario's photo blog is great, everyday he posts a new photo with someone holding a note with something "someone once told them".  So my friend Megz gathered the troops and we all met in Central Park. The day was perfect, and it was a lot of fun to see what everyone came up with.

Once Mario posts my photo on his own site, i'll show you guys here too, in the mean time, I snapped pictures of my friends and some of their quotes.

The boys come to visit!

I'm from a small rural area in upstate, New York.  My younger brother and his best friend decided to come down for the weekend to visit.  We went to some of the most "redneck" and "grungy" bars in NY.  I had to show them NY does have variety.  We visited the highline, batter park city, and my favorite chinese spot in chinatown.

Best of all, it was nice to see my little brother and spending some time with him!

CENTRAL PARK, NYC


I hung around Central Park this weekend and can I tell you, it was such a beautiful day.  We had a little photo shoot at the park for an awesome blog that I'll tell you about later this week.  Some of my super awesome friends came out to join me as well.
